ABOUT TENREN TEA

     Ten Ren Tea was founded in 1953 in Gongshang of Kaohsiung County. The former name of Ten Ren was Ming-Fong Tea Co. Ltd. In 1961 Tainan opened its first Ten Ren tea retail shop. The company re-organized itself as Ten Ren Tea Co. Ltd. in 1975. As of MAY of 2017, there are 208 stores under the ownership of the company. In addition, Ten Ren Tea, the Ten Ren Tea Culture Foundation and the Lu Yu Tea Art Center all assist in the continue existence and innovation of the Chinese tea art culture.

     With the philosophy of “Old Business, New Management,” we concentrates on the product, store and organization innovations. In addition to regarding tea as ware to kernel toward various food products to develop, we also have launched our newest chain of “cha FOR TEA”, to pursue the goal of tea’s internationalization, livelier, and younger. Ten Ren authorizes the American Coca-Cola Company production oolong tea, green tea beverage in 2003, setting the model of the traditional domain multinational strategic alliance.

Ten Ren’s Tea

Ten Ren’s Tea

     In order to popularize the trend of drinking tea and to provide a genuine environment for tea enthusiast, Ten Ren opened the cha FOR TEA aimed at the younger generation by combining youth, recreation, and a flourishing tea drinking culture.

     The cha FOR TEA developed unique flavors of tea-ware, tea desserts as well as tea flavors. The tea meals served at the tea shop are most exquisite. There are 11 tea shops presently operating in Taiwan. In addition to Taiwans market, Ten Ren has rapidly expanded overseas with branches opening in Los Angeles and Sydney. Moreover, Ten Ren has inked an exclusive licensing deal with Japans Sugakico Group for distribution in the Tokyo and the surrounding market.

Ten Ren Tea Culture Museum

     Ten Ren Tea Culture Museum is established by Ten Ren Group to help fulfill its social responsibility as the tea navigator in Asian tea market. The main reason behind this cultured establishment is to help bring awareness to Taiwan’s precious tea culture, and its ability to continuously make high quality tea through out the years. Furthermore, Ten Ren hopes the tea museum can give its visitors a deeper understanding of Taiwan.

     Taking up over 6,000 square feet, the tea museum is located at the boundary where the City of Hsinchu and MiaoLi County meets. Ten Ren Tea Culture Museum based its central concept on “Discovering Taiwan’s Uniqueness,” and with the creative design and craftsmanship, the visitors can fully experience tea through sight, sound, touch and taste. From this kind of interactive learning experience, Ten Ren hopes to help unmask the mysteries behind tea so everyone can enjoy and cherish tea even more.

TEN REN’s TEA passed the ISO 22000 and HACCP verification, also is the only tea company that gets ISO 22000, HACCP, ISO 9001 three kinds of verification in the tea industry.
